I have created a concertina screen printed book of some sayings. Any opinions on this book would be grateful, thanks. 

Colour Chart

This is a colour chart I have made. I had experiment with a traditional colour chart that you would find say at a B&Q type store but was having difficulty with aligning the text to the folding. This piece I find is a much more simpler graphic yet perhaps more interesting and effective than a traditional colour chart. It shows that I have assigned each place a different colour due to their accents; however you can tell that there is shades of the same colour, this is because for example all the blues are based around Manchester but have different strains of the manc accents. The bike represent the key for my piece, as you can see I have placed bikes in the squared colours and then used the same bikes next to them with a piece of text underneath. This text indicates which city that colour is.

This piece was inspired by old aeroplane radar maps. My aim was to show how broad the accents in England are. Any opinions would be great full. 

Accents - How do they relate?

I'm currently studying on the Art and Design foundation course. As part of my final project I'm trying to get opinions from people about my experiments etc. I would be more than delighted if people would be able to give me feedback on my pieces starting on this one; This piece is showing the comparison of a main city (Liverpool) to its surrounding cites in terms of how similar the accents are.
